Surprisingly, typing with emojis on a Mac is easier and more user friendly than you may think.
If you have any sort of smartphone or tablet, it's likely that you’ve encountered an emoji keyboard on your device. If, after making this discovery, you use emojis in excess (you know who you are), you’d likely be disappointed when you can’t figure out how to type the cute little symbols on your Mac. Well, get ready to type a lot of smiley faces, because Macs have a built-in, searchable emoji picker that supports tons of emojis. To access it, simply press the control (⌃), command (⌘), and space keys at the same time. Then, the emoji picker will appear. To navigate it, continuously scroll through the available emojis or select one of the categories from the bottom of the picker. You also have the ability to search the emojis by scrolling to the very top of the picker and entering your search term in the search box.
